BIO
Native
of Mexico City, graduated with the degree of architecture
from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Campus
Xochimilco, Juan Carlos Valdes has worked in San Miguel de
Allende for more over than 18 years. In this place architect
Valdes has given loose rein to his creativity constructing
and redesigning more than 200 properties.
Among
his main projects we find a beautiful set of 14 houses known
as the "Cruz de San José" (Saint Joseph’s
Cross), where the houses have been designed in such way
that aren’t two alike. "Las Puertas" (The
doors), an enormous and beautiful stone construction, far
away from the city is another of the important projects
that the architect made, whose greater challenge was its
size, since the construction has 2,400 square meters.
The
"Privada del Sol" (Private of the Sun) is another
beautiful set of 14 houses conceived and developed by architect
Juan Carlos Valdes. Within this site you will be able to
view photographs of some of these projects.
